When Jesus said that he made God’s name known to his disciples, they already knew the divine name. He was not giving them its correct pronunciation. Nor was he giving them a mandate to make known to the world the name of his father. But along with revealing God’s character and personality, there was something else that was new to them. The possibility of entering into a relationship with him as their father.
