The focus of the good news preached by Jehovah’s Witnesses today is God’s Kingdom. Their message is that Jesus was enthroned as king of a literal government in heaven in the year 1914. This supposedly began a period of time called the last days, which will culminate in a future destruction of the wicked at Armageddon, after which he and 144,000 heavenly co-rulers will reign and bring the earth to paradise conditions resembling the garden of Eden.
