During the 2023 annual meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses, governing body member Jeffrey Winder revealed that everything that the Watchtower society has written in their publications since 1879 is available for the governing body to research. But this is not the case for the average witness. Why is the Watchtower magazine only researchable online back to 1950 and the Awake magazine only back to 1970?
If previous publications such as Studies in the Scriptures, The Harp of God or The Finished Mystery were so instrumental in causing people to recognize the truth at that time why are they no longer available?
